MOAE was set up as a fundraising event for the AA Trust and both were founded by successful entrepreneur, Alexander Amosu www.alexanderamosu.com.

Amosu decided to set up the Trust after identifying a gap in the community for such a cause.  He wanted to make a difference in people’s lives by investing in the future generation thus The AA Trust was born along with MOAE – the first fundraising event to raise money for the Trust.

The AA Trust is about “Creating Entrepreneurs in our Community” by investing in young people between the ages of 16-27 with a sound business idea.

The trust aims to encourage, help and develop businesses from conception through to materialisation, giving individuals the opportunity to make a difference in their lives and communities through professional advice, training and financial support.

The trust will not only fund new businesses, it will create a hub and work alongside individuals with hands-on support.  They will be provided with an office, experienced staff and office equipment for a period of 12 months and then a further 6 months guidance and support via mentors.

Opportunities to approach other business angels or profitable businesses for match funding will also be available.

Network: Candidates will have access to a network of lawyers, accountants, pr/marketing, graphic and web design professionals along with other specialists, to aid the smooth running of their new business.

Mentors such as leading entrepreneurs and professionals from around the UK will be allocated to each new business and continue to be accessible for guidance after the 1-year implementation period has expired.

Sustainable Income: The AA Trust will own a small percentage of each business supported, in order to enable other prospective businesses to benefit from the Trust's funding in the future.

The Trust hopes to obtain additional support through local Government initiatives and from fellow entrepreneurs to enable its work to gradually expand globally.
